Benjamin E. Hays, MAI
Ben is a graduate of the University of Kentucky that has worked in the real estate industry for over 10 years, including international experience while living in Sydney, Australia. Ben started his real estate career in residential sales and transitioned into appraisal services in 2006. His experience also includes property management and coordination of renovation projects. Ben is a licensed Certified General appraiser in South Carolina; he received his MAI designation in 2014, and he co-founded Murphy, Hays & Associates in 2015.
Raymond L. Murphy, MAI, SRA
Ray is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, and he began his appraisal career in 1986. He received his SRA and MAI designations from the Appraisal Institute in 1989 and 1993, respectively, and he was the President of the South Carolina Chapter of the Appraisal Institute in 2009. Ray founded a real estate appraisal firm known as R. L. Murphy & Associates in 1996, and the company was renamed Murphy, Hays & Associates in 2015. Ray is a Certified General Appraiser licensed in SC and NC.
